Whether you choose to make a contribution to Alternatives through our annual fund, through an event or by designating Alternatives at your place of business' United Way campaign, each contribution that you make allows the agency to advance its mission. It allows us to provide comprehensive support services to individuals with special needs that enable each person served to reach their highest level of independence and integration in the community.

Each year the agency chooses a Gala Chair and Dignity Award honorees for their achievement and commitment to the community along with their service to the agency.
A ninety-minute cocktail reception preceeds the dinner, and allows plenty of time to inspect a breathtaking selection of Silent Auction items including jewelry, trips, gift certificates at some of the area’s most delectable restaurants, golf packages and electronic equipment. There will be no shortage of entertainment during the evening; the gala features the talents and musical flair of entertainers well known throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
