>> Testimonials
“Alternatives is a place which values its employees! We have a president who has an open door policy and is willing to talk to any of us if needed. I've always received the support that I need, from other managers, my director, quality support, etc., when I have questions or concerns. It is so nice to work for an agency which puts the needs of its individuals first and which recognizes the hard work of its staff.”
Program Manager, Supervised Apartment Living Program
“I enjoy working at Alternatives because there are always opportunities to learn from others within the field, I felt well prepared to work with individuals with developmental disabilities after taking trainings when I was a new employee and there is plenty of opportunity to move to higher positions within the agency. Also, the staff are friendly and care about the individuals we service.”

“I love working at Alternatives because the people are great. Not only is the staff terrific, but all of the individuals are wonderful. It really makes me feel great going to a job where I know my work and effort are appreciated. I feel like I truly make a difference in the lives of the individuals I work for.”
Support Specialist, Supervised Apartment Living Program
“I love my job because I get to spend my working hours with people whom I love, people who reflect my goodness back to me and who have taught me that if I can spend eight hours maintaining a posture of solidarity (with the clients), I can go home and treat my family members just as respectfully. I am truly blessed.”
